Did you ever hear anyone say, “Eat everything on your plate – there are starving children in China”? It was used by parents to get reluctant eaters to clean their plates. It really didn’t make sense because whether you ate everything on your plate or not, it wasn’t helping starving people.
Well, there are starving people in Fullerton and you can help.
Linda Holman, representing the Woman’s Club of Fullerton, will be dancing to end hunger and homelessness in Fullerton at the Pathways of Hope 4th annual “Look Who’s Dancing” event. You can support her efforts by purchasing a ticket, voting online for her, or being a sponsor.
Linda feels strongly about ending hunger and homelessness. She knows that people who are hungry have difficultly functioning fully which puts them at a disadvantage in pursuing the American dream. School children who are hungry cannot keep up in school. Making this world a better place begins by making sure everybody is fed.
Linda is the President of the Woman’s Club of Fullerton, a business woman, and believes everyone should have the opportunity to pursue a better life. In order to do that, people must be fed and have shelter.
You can do something about it by supporting Pathways of Hope’s fundraiser, Look Who’s Dancing. Purchase a ticket, vote, or sponsor Linda today!
