Linda is the current President of the Woman’s Club of Fullerton (WCOF), owns her own business, and is a spiritual teacher. Her passions are caring for the environment and empowering people to be their best.
As staff minister at the Center for Spiritual Discovery in Costa Mesa, she taught Discovery classes and started the Urban Forestry project which planted over 100 trees including 80 as part of a habitat restoration for Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.
When she came to Fullerton as staff minister for the First Church of Religious Science she taught Science of Mind classes and she held the first E-Waste collection event in the city.
After joining the Woman’s Club of Fullerton, she became the Conservation Chair and initiated the renovation of Woodcrest Park which will be completed in July 2018 with the help of Kiwanis, Habitat of Humanity, St. Jude, and the City of Fullerton.
She also started the WCOF Natural Health & Beauty Expo featuring speakers on natural and holistic health and vendors showcasing natural, organic, and chemical free products. This has become a WCOF annual event.
As WCOF president her current project combines both her passions for the environment and teaching self empowerment. She has arranged the reading and distribution of the book “Dear Children of the Earth” to second grade classes in Fullerton. The book inspires self esteem and loving care of our planet.
Linda is dancing to support the work of Pathways of Hope. When people are hungry they cannot fully function. Feeding and housing people gives them strength and hope so they can help themselves.
