Pathways of Hope Receives Nonprofit of the Year Award!

California Senator Bob Huff selected Pathways of Hope as the 29th Senate District’s Nonprofit of the Year for 2016! The Senator visited Pathways of Hope’s Fullerton campus on July 12th to present the award to our Board of Directors and staff.

Senator Huff said, “Pathways of Hope’s dedication to providing food, clothing, housing, comfort, and guidance to people who are in desperate need is to be commended. The services you provide to local families and individuals strengthen not only your clients, but also your entire community.”

“Pathways of Hope is honored to receive this recognition,” said Executive Director Pam Sousa. “For over forty years, our organization has been dedicated to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless. We are so grateful for the support of our many partners in the community, without whom we would not be able to touch the lives of thousands of struggling individuals each year.”

Eric Azariah, Chairman of our Board of Directors, said, “Since our organization was founded in 1975, we have grown and adapted to respond to the many needs of the hungry and homeless in Orange County. It is truly an honor to be recognized as the 29th Senate District’s Nonprofit of the Year, and we hope that this award will shine a light on the hard work and dedication of Pathways’ many volunteers, donors, community partners, Board of Directors, and staff.”

Pathways of Hope is thrilled to have received this award, and we know that it is all thanks to you, our supporters, who make it possible for us to rebuild lives every day!
